You may have bought something (a car adapter, amplifier, car stereo, satellite radio etc…) for your car online before. When you got your product, it required you to remove your radio or route wires all over your car to install it. So instead of doing it yourself, you went to the first place you found and it put you way over budget for this simple project. We know your problem, and hopefully Installcity.com can help.
Installcity.com was thought of in late 2008 and launched early 2009 in hope that we could help people discover various new places to go and have their products installed in their vehicle.
There are two types of site visitors on Installcity.com:
Buyers: This is the one looking for an install to be done to their vehicle. Buyers may or may not have the parts they need, but they know what they are looking for. While using the site, the buyer can post an ad with a description of what they would like done to their vehicle. The installers can then bid to do the job, and the buyer would then pick the one that fits their needs best. After the installation is done, you will be able to rate your installer and leave a comment for them. Furthermore, you will be able to post a blog with pictures of your installation along with the price of the job and who did it. You can communicate with your installer before and after the installation via our private install message board.
Installers: The installers are the ones that are responding to the buyers needs. Not only can they bid for installations in their area but they can also show off their work to the entire nation and quite possibly bring in jobs from all over the United States. Installers will be able to show off their fields of expertise and show pictures of past or present installations. Each installer will be judged on how well they accomplish their projects and will have a feedback score so the buyers can learn about their past work.
Installation Blogs: After you use our site we hope that you will be so impressed that you will choose to write about it on the BLOG SECTION of our site. Please do a Blog about your installation so others can see what you did. It will be a great place for others to share ideas for upcoming installations on their own vehicles/homes.
